The reason that I created the Monkey Locks range of products was that I could see the lack of natural ingredients in other products. In other products that claim to be natural, the only thing that was genuinely natural was the Beeswax, which only made up 10% of the total product! This meant that 90% of the product, was made up of Petroleum Jelly and Fillers which makes your Dreadlocks greasy and oily.

Scalp irritations and skin problems have also occurred when these products have been used on Dreads. This is not very friendly. Funny huh! Dreadlockers are nature lovers, carers of the environment yet unfortunately, they are fooled into believing that the products that they are using are natural.

• Monkey Locks Putty Wax

How to apply:

1. Scoop a small amount of Monkey Locks Wax onto your fingers (about the amount of half a fingernail).
2. Rub between your fingers until smooth and then apply to the dreads.
3. Applying heat will also allow the Monkey Locks Wax to dissolve further into the dreads.
